Palin on an recent interview has planed on running for President in 2012 and believes she could beat Obama. Because of her massive media popularity. Lets look at the overviews.

Sarah Palin has an enormous fan-base on Facebook of which 90% are trolls.
Is made fun of more than any other woman on the planet.
Has her own reality TV show in Alaska.
Is representing one of the United States least influential and known States.

Will she really make a good good president whether or not she has the ability to win?

Is she purposely brought into the media Spotlight to make Obama look better by comparing two very
contrasting peoples?

I don't think she is experienced enough and I don't think she could actually beat Obama. I'd rather have Newt Gingrich or Mitt Romney be president because they have much more experience than she does.

 

I don't think so. A country is a bit different from her secluded Eskimo land.

Point being that it takes more to run a country than a state and in my opinion, she's always being fake for the camera and whoever else may be looking.

 

Actually there is like 13% that she will become a president and , for the moment i dont see anyone literally anyone that could beat Obama.

 

I'm not a huge fan for her to become president, nothing against the sexuality but I don't like her gocky attitude and the way she is.

I agree wholeheartedly with Tyro. Obama won the election in 2008 because he was COOL, MAN! Sarah Palin is about as popular, just with a wildly different crowd. But, as we've seen in this presidency, a COOL president is likely to be a gigantic, humongous failure who uses his fame for total, 100% amnesty. Honestly, I'm still surprised at what this twat gets away with. I'm sure if this democrat slept with his secretary, nobody would care... or even know about it.


By the way, as an Alaskan, I'm probably the only one who is ever going to post in this thread who has experience with her policies rather than her fame. She's not a bad politician.

 

I'm not an American so I'm not very well educated on this particular topic, but I'm pretty sure she said on a TV show that America are allied with North Korea and they will do everything in their power to help them against South Korea.

I certainly wouldn't trust her with presidency.

 

She couldn't even finish a full term as governor.

I personally think she's an idiot and isn't fit to lead a country. She couldn't finish her term as governor of Alaska, which has about 700,000 people living there. How can you expect her to lead a country with 300,000,000+ people living in it? If she becomes president I will leave the country asap.

 

I doubt she could lead a family. So let's be honest...

 

I'm amazed the GOP would even consider her as a candidate. Just shows how desperate they are.

Anyway, no she would absolutely not make a good president. In fact, now that I'm 18, I will drop everything and move to Denmark if she becomes President, as I'm sure millions of other Americans will too.

P.S. Actually, I hope she becomes the Republican candidate. Easy win for Obama if that's his opposition.

I was going to ask this, but your post script answered. You honestly think Obama is doing a good job? You just said you're barely an adult, so I can understand how you think he's "cool". The entire media thinks he is "cool". "Cool" doesn't make a good president, unfortunately. I'm surprised Obama went through any sort of educational system whatsoever, because his policies are just horrendous. He doesn't understand economics at all.

To make things 100 times better, all we need is someone to just sit at his (her) desk and twiddle his (her) thumbs. Basically, everything Obama is doing is making things 100x worse. Sarah Palin would, thus, be 100x better than Obama's best day.

I'm going to not vote, but if the question was posed "Do you think Sarah Palin would do a better job as president?", I'd vote yes in a heart beat. Like I already said, I am the only person here who has ever experienced her policies. The media, for some reason, overlooks her political tendencies. They overlook everybody's political tendencies these days. Sure, you gotta be able to keep your words straight in an interview for the job, but really the only thing that matters in the end for a president is your policies and how well they work for the nation. Nobody in this whole post has addressed Sarah Palin's policies and how they disagree (agree) with them. Her family life, her personal life, her personality... they all mean almost nothing whatsoever. Abraham Lincoln suffered from severe depression. Look how he turned out.

However, I do not think the's the best person for the job. Like Clashfan said, she quit her governor job 2 years early, and there are other reasons. (However, I doubt anyone here knows why she quit in the first place...)




P.S. Actually, I do hope she gets elected president. I don't know if she'll do a good job or not leading the nation, but she'll sure get rid of a helluva lot of angry sheep who don't understand the difference between politics and pop culture gossip.

 

I really wish there were no political partys. Shoulda follow good ol George Washingtons Advice to never create them.
Obama could get nothing done because as said. Both partys will put down on a piece of paper what they want. Then each party would then proceed to take out what they dont want. Whats left on the paper? Nothing.

 

Never said he was good or cool. However, considering the candidates the GOP has had to offer, I far prefer him. It was a lesser of two evils decision.

I also do not like the people that would even do things in Palin's stead. The Conservative pseudo-fundamentalism (A.K.A. Tea Party) is a frightening movement, considering its power.

 

What tyro says is true. All we can hope for is hope the next few President wont screw the United States further. And Trust me, i dont see Sarah Palin helping.

 

The pseudo-fundamentalists have a lot less power than they make out to be. All they have managed to do so far is extend a fairly liberal "conservative" tax deal from Bush's regime.

I apologize for seeming like I put those words in your mouth. I'm extremely disappointed in the electorate; it's made me sort of brash. I never figured I'd see a presidential candidate have "cool" t-shirts, chia pets, bobble heads, TV shows, or go on "popular" radio shows and just chat (rather than talk policy). Not to mention his extremely pretentious slogans that he had when he was running (spread by his extremely pretentious fan club).


I do agree with you that it's yet another election round with more extremely disappointing nominees for the GOP. Maybe that's why they're putting Palin up to bat? They've failed miserably with the "political" guys. Maybe they're batting for a "cool chick" now? Like I said before, a "cool bro" worked extremely well for the Democrats.

 

Everyone should know by now that champaign promises are just lies to get elected.

I am honestly thinking of moving to Canada if Palin is elected president. She is a dumb radical. She is also against freedom of speech apparently, since she thinks the Wikileaks guy is a terrorist and should be killed.
