Fuck Death.

I'm so fucking done with all this death around me. Less than 2 months ago my friend committed suicide, and now a guy I knew a little bit and was friends with my brother and a lot of my friends was stabbed to death in the face by a robber. I'm making this thread so ANYONE can rant about people close to them dying and/or comfort the people in this thread.

 

I know how you feel man... My grandfather died when I was 8. He was the closest I had to a father figure. That's some tough shit though, man... Losing a friend can't possibly be easy... Just hang in there, bro. The best you can do is live enough for both of you. Life shouldn't go wasted. No matter how bad it gets.

 

Yeah I'm still happy, because I know all my friends feel the exact same. I understand about the grandpa thing to, to an extend. He died when I was 10 and I considered him as my second dad, and I've still gone into my room and just thought about him, and cried sometimes. I don't give two shits if people think crying ain't manly, you gotta do it sometimes.

 

Hell yeah. I use to cry, but I recently hit my breaking point and just simply can rarely ever feel now. I'm damn near emotionless because of my past and the present and fear of what may (not) happen in the future. Hence why I've been inactive on the forums.. I can barely bring myself to post anymore because I've lost interest in most stuff...

Anyways,that's shitty man. It's as if I lost my brother, father, grandfather, uncle, everything, all at once. He and my grandmother were all I had in my family. The rest neglected me, abused me, etc... Yeah man, continue being happy. I'm still forcing myself to be happy. I've got a new outlook on life and I'm planning to stick to it. Why sit and mope forever? Why do nothing but live in constant fear my entire life? I won't accomplish anything and when death finally comes knocking on my door, I'll be left with nothing but regrets for not living. Ya know?
You're a strong individual for being able to still be happy even without them. Keep that up, man. It'll get you far in life...

I lost my mum when i was 3-4. It sucks ass, and I hate when people say 'ya mum' jokes to me. :l

 

Its part of the life cycle. Anyways in my religion theres an afterlife. So death could mean a new beggining. But who knows?
And im sorry for all your losses.

That's pretty rough. I didn't really have a mother, apart from my grandmother. I didn't get close to my biological mom until I was about 16 and a half. I actually know a guy (not personally) and his mom died of cancer, not too sure when, but someone made fun of him for it... It's sad, really. Did they do it on purpose?

Nobody knows. I just thought I'd point out how you mentioned your religion... Then openly said "But who knows?"... Kind of impressed there, most people think their religion is right and everyone else is wrong. But anyways, we'll never know until we, ourselves die.

 

Don't take this the wrong way but I get shitty with people that have mum's that have passed that get funny with your mum jokes. I mean c'mon, you would struggle to find a group of people (teenagers, etc) that wouldn't joke about that. It's just normal for teenager age groups. Don't take that the wrong way, just saying. They don't know that you've lost your mum, no harms meant.

OT - Yeah, everyone has those times I guess. Maybe not as bad as your situation, but not far of it. Closest i've had is a grandfather pass, so I wouldn't know.

 

It's hard to accept, but things like this just happen. I feel sorry for you, but you should try to remember your happy moments together instead of drowning in regrets and pain.

Nyx I totally agree, I try and stay on the higher side of life. I know it's a bit OT but am I the only one who hates people who act like their hella depressed yet their life is fine and they are just stupid attention whores?

 

OT: Gamer, my life is fine and I'm depressed. I have something called clinical depression (major depression). It's uncontrollable, caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. Saying that they're attention whores or telling them they shouldn't be depressed is like telling a schizophrenic person they should stop hallucinating, stop being paranoid, etc.

Although, I'll admit, a lot of them are attention whores. Lol.

What do you mean by this? He was simply complaining about how his life is filled with death. If you're telling someone who's lost a friend to "man up" (even if he's totally alright about it, already) you're honestly one insensitive bastard. This part of the forum is for people to ask for help and receive real advice. Don't even bother if you're going to post ridiculous stuff like that.

 

Anger doesn't slove anything, people die and people live and when someone passes away does their love go with them? No, your love and kindness and their soul made that person important to you and that's something that will last forever.

Death isn't something you should hate, death is a part of life, is it fair? No but nothing in life comes without a price.

 

I haven't experienced any one close to me dieing but I have seen the effects on others and I can see the pain your probably feeling, as much as I don't want to be rude it is a part of life that needs to be handled and will happen either way weather we want it or not. Sorry for your losses man.

I only get annoyed when I know people are doing it just to piss me off. A lot of my friends don't say it to me because they know I'm sensitive about it.

In all honesty, I'd knock ANYONE out if they made fun of someone for that shit. Like, I didn't know the guy very well, but when I saw the text, I was ready to hospitalize someone... It's just low. Do you ever retaliate when someone says it to you?

 

Yeah, when people say mum jokes is really awkward, there's this guy with autism in my class who keeps on doing it even though people keep explaining it to him that my mums gone, it pisses me off and I want to punch him in the throat but I can't he's autistic and I'd get called an asshole, but fuck it, shit happens.

@OP You've just got to accept that it happens, my mum died of leukemia when I was 12, my dad died in 2008, he got stabbed in the chest, my aunt died of cancer last year, my other aunt is a heavy smoker and I've lived with her since my mum died and I'm so scared that she's going to die soon, too.

You've got to accept that it could happen and that it's inevitable, you can't ready yourself for somebodies death but you can acknowledge and understand it, it's the only thing that you can do, really, you can't prevent it, you know?

 

Yeah I know what your saying dude, and man that's a lot to go through. To be honest I don't know how I'd really be able to handle that, although that sounds a lot what my mom lived through.
