VPS question

I know nothing about vps's but i was looking into getting one and was wondering, I have a bad connection right now and am planning on getting new internet but that won't be for a few weeks. Would my slow connection effect the vps or what? Thanks in advance.

Will it affect your ability to interact with the vps? Yes
I would honestly wait till your connection is fixed before purchasing. Nothing is worse than a DC or a hiccup on your end while trying to do anything on a vps.

Well, as the VPS has it's own broadband connection, it won't screw up with it. Though once you connect to it it'll be a lot harder process and harder ability to interact with it because your connection would be super slow.

 

Yeah i'll just wait till i get some better internet

 

I can connect to my VPS on my cell phone, which just uses a 3G service. It runs fine, although it does run somewhat slowly. I'm still able to check up on bots and get any one that has crashed back running.
