Runescape Reset? If only...

If only runescape would kick off all the ten year old's on runescape, and reset it back to the good old days of the wildy and Player to player trading WITH NO LIMITS!

Wild would be less interesting.

Implying Jagex would be able to tell who's ten years old based on the typing aspect of the game. Oh, and limits and removal of PKing weren't caused by ten year olds, so... I don't see a problem here.

 

Trading limits.. Were a punch in the gut as a mercher myself but i could live with it. The removal of the wilderness? Just... No.. That hurt me bad man.. I got my first rune armor set ( back when rune armor was the shiz) via pvp kill.

They use to not allow anyone under 13. If you were caught, you were banned. Now they allow it with "parental permission"

 

Yeah man, It was devestating. I remember my first wildy pvp kill, when helm of neitz first came out and I got it. I poo'd a little bit :')

 

I'm aware, all you do is enter a DOB. There's no PROOF that anyone is the age they say they are. Kids play rated M games on consoles all day long with and without parental permission, there's no way to stop it.

 

Tbh, I have seen 100's of threads about people wishing to go back to w/e.

It's a nice thought but is wont ever happen. I do miss the old RS days.

Not at all.
First of all - All of the gold farmers would be back (Personally, I don't care) therefore a huge amount of money would be going towards Jagex simply from them.
A lot of "Old school" players would return for pking and I think all of the newer players would adjust.

Of course, this will never happen and so there is no reason to argue over it etc.

 

I don't want them to do it because I'm so used to the game now I wouldn't want it too change because I enjoy it too much now!

 

Runescape is more intent on drawing the newer generations to play because most of the older generations will have an higher rate of quitting。 Why would they watse money by going back。

 

Merchanting was what made the old runescape so good for me.
Still have my level 3 with:
D chain (Bought at 26m years ago)
Yellow party hat (Bought at 59m years ago)
Half jug of wine (Bought at 28m years ago)
All from merching.
As for pkin well........The new pvp system sucks, i remeber pkin with torso firecape ect, not having to worry about losing it also luring was great fun.

 

i remember id see 180k people online at a time now i see less then 110-120k players on.

 

Well you gotta admit... we sure as hell didn't help any with the Trade Limit. Being the biggest RWT forums for years. BUT, I do miss getting pissed on my main and giving all my gold to a noob account and making dozens of half-ass pures walking around with a partyhat.

OT: Its not always the 10year olds that bitch and complain.... But I would pay extra for some old wildy and staking.

 

sites like these are one of the reasons the trade limit got implemented, and ofcourse asians.

it was 80k ppl in the old days.

And I believe it was 14, Not 13.

Sites like this one and other RWT sites made it this way.. They haven't stopped them, probably never will, just slow us down.
