How do I upload images on sythe with transparent background

yeah I've seen really nice signatures and avatars where the background is transparent so the sythe blue background is showing. How do I do that?

 

What program are you using to make them?

 

I have corel photopaint 12

 

I don't know anything about that but normally you have layers when you make images. Look for the solid color layer ( if there is one) and remove it. then add your text/images

 

what file type do I save it as?

 

save it as .png

Make sure you have a transparent background though.
