Unnecessary locking of thread

The following thread: http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=966657
was closed without reason by an unnamed moderator. This thread breaks no rules. The rules allow "mild flaming," which this thread easily falls into that category. I am appaled at the staff!
Just because you don't like something doesn't mean you can just get rid of it! I demand a demotion!

Are you f**king kidding me? If it's not allowed in the spam forum, where does flaming go? l2not abuse pohwers.
If that's flaming, i can go find about 252,266,123 more posts in that forum that go to that "line," cross it, take a shit on it, light the shit on fire, and kick it into a puppy's face, if you get my point.
Infraction unwarranted, along with lock.

 

I had no part in the locking/infracting but both are warranted as you were only trying to get stuff started...

We have the right to close it.

 

That is obvious and not a reason for why it should be locked. Honestly, it is the spam forum. Locking threads creates more trouble than the threads would have themselves.

But I don't mind if you close the issue. I still believe in my points, but I didn't realize that this was a key issue.
I've received multiple message on msn about this, saying "I hate that fag." I really do like Hahanerd, he didn't even close the thread.

I do like him, actually, so i don't care where you take the issue.

 

The thread was going to cause excessive flaming, maybe not even directed at Hahanerd, possibly you for making the thread, the mod closed it because theres no reason to make such a thread.

As for SuF, no that wasnt the reason, i was merely counter-acting his "I have the right" stance.

 

But i have the freedom of speech.
I CAN make that thread. I CAN say that in the spam forum. That's where flaming goes.

 

There is NO forum where flaming is appropriate. Please read the rules again.

Moderators may arbitrarily lock threads as they see fit. Simple as that.
