-operation Barrows Drop-

Recently, while playing Barrows I've found myself unable to receive a Barrows item of any sort with the exclusion of bolt racks.

Well my friends, this will be quite the contrary soon.
I'm starting "Operation Barrows Drop" or (OBD) for short.

I will play Barrows and ONLY Barrows until I get a Barrows drop.
I will keep you all updated.

What are your stats and how do you do your barrows runs?

 

just get camping gear , full guthans, with ancients ice spells (ahrim or mystic), a spec weapon, and rune short bow, black sally. you can camp there for ages with this gear. until you have to bank ur loot

 

I stopped going to barrows once they nerfed the drop rate.

Barrows is easy as hell, just takes time. For those of you who are not patient i'd try something else.

 

Jagex never nerfed the drop rate lol, you've just had bad luck like the OP. A couple people start talking about how they haven't been getting any drops, and eventually they conclude that because many of them haven't been getting anything, the drop rate must have been nerfed. This then spreads by word of mouth and becomes "fact". They don't take into account, however, the thousands of other people that ARE getting drops and just not speaking up. Drops are 100% based on RANDOM CHANCE, the drop rate hasn't changed for barrows, nor TD's or really any other boss monster, since they were released. Show me proof of a jagex mod saying the drops were changed and I'll believe it.
Gl to the OP, one will come eventually. Last year I heard about a kid with a 435 dry streak...

 

that's just some lucky runs.
in most cases, after several runs you get some runes, coins, and junk. chances of actually getting what you got isn't the most likely.

 

I did barrows once, ahrims hood. never again did I do it.
It's very hard!

 

Barrows is boring, IMO.

Make sure to get Ring of wealth it makes the drop 10% higher or smaller i think but im sure its 10%

 

Wrong. RoW only affects items on the rare drop table (half shield, half key, ect.)

The operation was a success.
I got a karils x bow after like 2 more runs.

To answer how I do my barrows runs.
Slayer dart for, Dharoks, Guthans, Verac, Torag.
Range for Ahrims (Broad bolts hit about 23's at 80 range)
Melee for Karils

I bring 3 prayer pot (4)'s usually use only two.
I get kill count with melee or range, depending on how I feel.

 

Nice barrows drops. I never reallly got a good item. Just the usual runs and bolt racks
