It sort of depends what mood I'm in. If I'm feeling really low and depressed then I work really well on my own, but if I'm happy and a bit hyper then I do far better with other people. I tend to achieve less at home because I have access to the internet, xbox live etc. so I get distracted.

 

Then you obviously like being independent, you should ask your parents for homeschooling if that's the case.

because you accomplish more by yourself doesn't mean your a freak. It's sad how the society gives the impression that the more people you surround yourself with, the cooler you are.

I work a shitload better by myself. I hated group projects and shit like that in high school. Why? Because I'm so much fucking smarter than most people; they just slow me down. My thought process works for me, and I know when I'm right, but to take the time and explain it to people takes so much longer than doing it by yourself.

 

There is nothing wrong with working more at home than at school, maybe your suitable career will be homebased. take your flaws and make them something you want them to be!

im like you , i can't do shit when i'm at school i cant motivate myself but at home i learn a hella lot more, i actually think its cuz i have adhd an i get distracted easily amongst friends an people.

 

I do more at school than at home, because of the games I have at home.

Though, I work better with people, depending on who they are.

 

That's certainly not an irregular thing. I'm rather independent myself too. At school I choose to do assignment alone rather than in pairs and I sit by myself sometimes to stop distractions to get my work done. Sure it has caused me some slight issues adjusting to things such as me working in a job and being a part of the UE team, but it's certainly not weird.

 

I do work better in my car because there no distractions.

I am the same way if not more so. Since I live alone it is not unusual for me to go for days/weeks without any human contact outside of work/school. I am an extremely independent person and like to not have anyone around me when I work or play.
