How to deal with people that insult you in Runescape.

I think i've found an effective way of dealing with them.

I enjoy pking alot, and been testing out hybridding. Sadly, i fail at it. My switches are inperfect and lousy, my prayer switching is not good and overall , i suck at it.

Many people start to insult me, "l2pk", "smd", "fail".

Usually, i respond with an honest " yeah lol i suck at bridding =(". This usually surprisies them, and most of them will feel shocked. REALLY! Then they will go like "ily" "" "its okay brother" etc.

Because most of them expect you to rage back and start a flame war, they never expect you to agree with them!

=D it might not work with everyone though.

 

wow i tell them to go fuc themselfs. i love a good flame war there usually flaming back when u k0 them lol. flamming plus clicking food is not that easy lol

 

I have my public chat switched off or to friends.

They are all muted in my eyes

Just turn public off and do whatever you were doing.

You can always just ignore them anyway. As in, literally ignore and not place on ignore list.

 

Or just ignore them and realize that they must think they are really cool by insulting over Runescape.

 

I recently just started using my ignore list. Try that

 

Flame war is cool, especially in pvp. Try to make him write longer flames so u can K0 them ^_^

RuneScape should really make an 18+ world where kids aren't allowed where there aren't any word filters.

Sure, little kids will still come into the worlds, but is it RuneScape's fault when they see tons of harsh language? Nope.

 

Who cares if you get insulted on Runescape by a 12 year old that probably learned the insult in 5th grade and can't say it out loud or he will get punished from Runescape and /wrist.

Odd, I called someone a poopy head the other day in north edgy. OT it does help to agree with them, that way they dont get the joy of the last word.

 

Just right click on their name and add Ignore?

 

If you're insulted while playing Runescape, they're probably right.

 

I got a better idea, ever thought of turning public off or just ignoring their insults? They're probably teens with abusive parents and they need to let out some anger in a virtual game.

I always do that =] idc i admit things, if fail at pking and they say 'L2PK', thats ok because im learning by failing..

 

Right on the public chat box, then click off.
