MTA is good for cash. Don't know the experience per hour, but the alching room is very high I heard.

Alching itself, around 70k experience an hour. I did maple longbow (u). Will make a loss.

Stun, cheaper option. But requires more clicking.

Ice bursting. Good experience, do it at rock crabs or rock lobsters to gather charms. Will cost a lot however.

Soul Wars. No cost. Just use zeal on magic.

 

I would go with Stringing Jewelry. I lost about 30M going for 84-99 but it was about 150k an hour.

 

I did mta from 70-99 mage took me around 3 weeks and i only spent something like 3m, I didn't bother switching between chambers stay in the enchanting room and you can average 75k-80k an hour which for the cost is definately worth it and often overlooked.
