Why are PINs no longer allowed?

I haven't been here for a few months.

Anyway, I have a few questions about membership sale changes:

-Why is PIN sale no longer allowed?
-How do account upgrades work? Do they apply membership using teamviewer, or do I actually have to give them my password?

most are gotten illegally.

edit: for account upgrades , you usually just send them paypal money then pm your runescape username & password to them, and they will help you apply.

if you do not trust them, look for the ones who have hundreds of vouches ( bluefirecorp, discovery, plznate..etc )

teamviewer can be used too. some charge an extra fee though

 

-They're illegal.
-A well trusted person goes on your account manually and adds it themselves.

 

Just thought I'd add in, they are illegal however Sythe doesn't mind what happens over MSN or off the website. On the site though they must are strictly referred to as Upgrades or Membership.

 

Upgrades are safer.

 

be careful of impostors as well. discovery has a few.

 

Legal reasons mainly. Your free to wing them over msn for the time being.
