There is no discussion taking place, all it has ever been is people asking for transfer methods that they never actually get.

 

Support and besides the few people that do talk there aren't even discussing it. They are just spewing out crap for post count.

 

If deleted though, where are they supposed to discuss these things?

 

I think the sticky is there to only disallow more rubbish threads ( spam ) about transferring to appear again.

 

No support, even if no one is answering it's still preventing spam threads.

 

Better people ask for them there than making a thread about it.

 

It saves the forum from being filled with unnecessary threads. So I reckon it can stay.

 

But no one uses it even when they do discuss methods. Ive thought the same thing before to be honest.

 

Of course, people don't usually give others there methods in the thread because otherwise it'll be leaked and Jagex will patch it up. The thing is when new methods come out or are patched, threads pop up in places. My example is when the 600m method involving Herblore was patched a week or so ago, members were creating threads in the market lounge asking what it was. If the sticky is going to stay the community and moderators just need to keep an extra eye out for these thread and report/close them.

 

Delete it and make it against the rules to make threads asking for RWT xfers, and stuff.

All it consists of is kids getting +1. If you want to prevent spam make it against the rules.

 

Honestly It should still be a place to request to buy xfer guides just not ask for free ones, I don't think at this point many people would discus their xfer methods for free as they are pretty limited. But Atm its about the only place you can request a method.

 

It keeps those things in the one place, so it's not annoying.
