    I don't think he turned himself in, I think he was arrested for statutory rape, and now they are trying to charge him with treason, but I might be wrong :/

    Here I am sitting here thinking the government have super secret hackers that can stop the world, but if they can't shut a website down...

    Also, i heard that the founders of wikileak were known to be superhackers and managed to hack not only the swedish bank, but mastercard and visa databases as well.

    No. An internet group Anonymous performed the attacks. Ddos (Distributed denial of service) attacks were used on the websites. Their databases were not hacked, the sites were just flooded with data from the Ddos attacks and thus crashed but were back up very quickly.
