If I were to JUST buy Cata at this point, does that fully upgrade my account? Or would I have to go and buy Vanilla, BC, WoTLK, and Cata?
You can't upgrade your account to Cataclysm without previously adding Vanilla, BC, and WoTLK to your account. Expansions provide additional content. With Vanilla, you can get to level 60. With Cata, you can get 85. But how will you get levels 60-80 without having the content that would allow you to do so?
if you dont know wow, i recommend just buying vanilla for now, then if you like it, buy the expanssions one by one. that way you dont feel like you are spending that much lol.
Insanosky, I know WoW Very Well, I have an account with 3 level 80's, but sadly I lost the account to a Ban from RWT (haha). But Since the CD-Keys can only be used once, I have to basically buy them again, (I also lost my CD's.) Well I know it is a lot, even full upgrading by Digi copy is 100$... haha..
