Public Chat ON

What's the point of botting with public chat off? Doesn't that raise more red flags than not talking? Plus, you can't talk to see if people are calling you a botter, so they'll report you more often.

 

Not really true, there are a lot of legit players who play with their public chat off. I do if I'm in a busy world or if there are people around that are annoying.

 

Theres not much point to it. Some people may do it so that they could use that as an excuse incase they get banned but I dont know how often that works.

 

none.. they dont flag you or track you because of it if you bot you botted with the chat on or off they dont care its way you act not the chat options and graph modes

 

You get flagged for abnormal playing behaviors such as 24/7 gaming. Public chat off does not raise a flag. Quickchat worlds is an alternative to public chat off.

 

I prefer to use a quickchat world if im botting on one of my noob accounts, That way people cant ask me if im botting plus i rarely get reported.

 

they cant flag you for not talking thats dumb .. i dont talk on my main either.

I do remember a long long time ago they banned ago they banned a f2p skiller who was getting 99 pray in f2p with 800k bones or something for never talking but they learnt from their mistakes hopefully.

 

Public chat gives you a reason not to respond.

Plus you get a lot of annoying players on runescape.

I don't really think it matters, I do both. Some people say keep it off because if someone ask's if your botting (while your botting) and you don't reply you obviously going to get reported and you could just say your chat was off, but w/e not like they read appeals.

 

I bot with public chat on, and I join a popular clan chat and have the cc chat tab open. I think that's the safest for me

 

I bot with it on Friends.

 

I never do it with Off, I don't really know why anyone would. Does anyone know if they look for that in botters?

 

i bot with it off because i play half legit, only like 4 out of 100 friends on list know i bot so they might report me

 

I usually have it off so people around me don't get annoying

 

you could also just put it on clan chat.. works same way only thing is you see them talking in your screen but cant read the chat

 

Just put it to hide.

You can still see what people say and possibly respond, but it doesn't clog up your chatbox.

 

I use hide, Doesn't matter if its off it won't make jagex any more suspicious if your a botter or not, its good to keep annoying people shut off, or it will stop your chat box from getting full of rubbish
