World Domination's road to 99 mining!

I've decided I wanted a goal that I had to really put my effort into and work for. I've wanted a 99 for a long time; I've played RuneScape since early 2005 and I've never had a 99 stat. This is mainly because I don't want a 'buyable' 99 like fletching, cooking, firemaking (although the FM cape is sexy as hell ), etc.

I will be mostly doing this goal legitimately. I will bot maybe 3 or 4 hours a day if I feel like setting it up and whatnot. I don't want to bot most of it because I want something to be proud of, and botting to 99 isn't really much to be proud of.

For method I will be doing a mixture of two to keep it less boring (however, it will take longer this way.) I will be mining mithril and coal for a little bit, and then switch to power mining iron. I will switch back and forth once I egt bored with one method. This was I can also make a little money in the4 process, so even if I don't ever reach 99, it won't be a complete waste and I will have some gold to show for it.

I will update this either every day, or every other day, depending on how much I accomplish in the day. As I progress further I won't update as often since it will take longer for levels.

Good luck with your goal. It seems like a hard 99 to complete, especially by hand.

 

Haha thanks, I guess I should learn how to spell the skill before training it to 99!

Also, yes it is going to be a hard 99, but in the end, it will be worth it. I have high self discipline and determination, so I hope I can handle it.

Using kMiner, can make your goal much easier.

Good luck. If you want a break or are getting tired of mining I'd recommend investing in kMiner or AutoMiner Pro to get some levels

Thanks, and getting bored isn't going to be an issue at the moment, I have a couple mining method I'm using that are keeping me from being bored.

Update:
I'm taking a small break from this goal to get a few combat levels to make mining easier.
