Computer got messed up.

So i was using Powerbot and i went to sleep with it on, only was on like 7 hours. When i woke up.....the comp was off bc eventually goes to standby. So i turn it on...it keeps restarting itself and i couldnt get to the screen where you choose your login


Was this because of powerbot?
or the computer?
Also their was a wierd ip adress when i logged in to runescape......I could tell it was different from mine....But my computer went haywire....
I do have AVG anti virus so it should have blocked it...whatever it was

So my bro did a system recovery and its fine now.


I did leave the computer on for 7 hours also...
Installed AVG again...scanned rs bot(powebot) and came up with no viruses
Any thoughts?

I was also in the same exact spot where i was....in lumby bank and all my things were still their....So. should i put my comp on stand by now? would that affect the bot?

 

The computer could've overheated because it's been used to much, however having a system recovery fix it would deny that hypothesis. I'd say bot as you did before and if the same instance comes up you know how to fix it (system recovery.) If it does happen again seek some more help on the issue.

 

It looks like it was the computer not power bot. Either what Brenden said your computer over heated or it might have frozen and just crashed. You could take it in to make sure it wouldn't do that again but don't worry with the powerbot client. The only things it can do against your computer is over work it if you computer isn't very good.
