"Highly Trusted" User Image

Hi, I am an avid sythe purchaser, and I am a 50$ donator as you can obviously see, and I have been on sythe for over a year now.

Over the year, I have noticed the incessant "I DONT CARE IF YOU HAVE 5000 VOUCHES I GO FIRST CAUSE IM LEGIT WITH MY 2 VOUCHES". Now, I have nothing against them saying that, and I have gone first in every trade except maybe two or three. (See my vouch thread in signature for verification). I believe the highly trusted user image should be of utmost respect, and as they are so few, it truly is.

Now here comes the suggestion:

I believe members should have a realistic chance of becoming a highly trusted member through a set list of requirements, or something of the sort, involving rigourous checking and proof.

Step 1:
Submitting a 10$ fee to the Sythe Administrator in charge of doing the following steps, so he isn't getting 10000 applications every day. Also meant to ward off people that arent serious, or aren't legitimate. THIS RULE BEING DEBATABLE.
Step 2:
Verifying your home addresss and phone number with a Sythe Administrator.
Step 3:
Obtaining 25 High Quality vouches to be examined by an Sythe Administrator (What I mean by high quality is none of that "Vouch for poo, got me 25-27 strength free, ultra trusted" crap.)
Step 4:
A certain period of active account time. Say, 6 Months?

If all of those tests pass, I see no reason as to why they should not have access to that. :idea:

Ehhh. I would support if it was more complex than that. 25 vouches are pretty easy to get. something like 600+ would be more like it.

 

What are the requirments to get a highly trusted/respected image right now? I've seen them around but never understood how to get one.

 

I don't really think there should be a application for it. If sythe is going to give someone the Highly Trusted rank then it's for obvious reasons.

 

Why not change that then. Dont be so quick to shoot down an idea' lets build on it eh?

There is no application for this and never will be. Sythe gives these out when he feels he can ultimately trust a certain person.

 

You make a valid point. Regardless, after going through my steps, do you really think a person would attempt a scam.


If not the Highly Trusted title, why not "Trusted"?

The $10 fee isn't necessary. 25 vouches by random people isn't what Sythe himself thinks.

Also 6 months is a few years too short of time.

 

They should have like 400+ vouches and alot of posts
