Does anyone know how to unlock an I Phone to make it work on T-Mobile?

Does anyone know plz need some assistance step by step preferably

First off is your phone an unlock able phone? If it isn't you can still technically unlock it but you loose your warranty and it isn't really looked upon. If you can't tell if it's already unlocked then open the back of your phone and see if there is the sms chip. Then borrow one from a friend or family member and see if it works in your phone. If it does then your phone is unlocked but if it rejects the card then your stuck.

 

There are methods to unlock an iPhone, however it's debatable over it's legality. It is I guess breaking a contract with the phone service provider, and it's Sythe is against the discussion of illegal activity on the site.

To OP: If your phone isn't unlocked and you do want it unlocked go look for it else where since we can't discuss those things here.

I have an unlocked iPhone3GS, and am on T-Mobile.

And what is your firmware?
