Driver stopped working?

When i open wow and log in the select my account as its loading the screen goes black and it comes up with graphics driver has stoped working.
what can i do to fix this?

Are you doing this on Xp, Windows 7, Vista or a Mac? I don't know as much with Mac computers as I do with Windows but for Windows you can just go to the specific driver that isn't working (It should tell you which one specifically) and see if there is a way to update it. It could also be that your OS needs to be updated. To update your OS just check "New Updates" and if there are any listed you can update them and that might be the problem.

 

Im using vista, happend the same on windows 7 hench the change back to vista. How would i find out which driver? i have no windows updates atm.

 

What graphics card/ diver are you using? It could be that it's broken or doesn't work with Wow on the settings your using.

 

Its an Intel (r) G31/G33.

Did you recently update your graphics card? you may have it set to do it automatically, a lot of problems like this can be fixed by rolling back your driver to a previous version.

You could also try restoring your PC to a date before you had the problem.

 

No, I installed windows 7 and it worked for about a month then it started doing this so I reinstalled windows 7 and it worked for about 5-10 mins then did it again. So i then installed vista and its now doing it on vista. I can log in and select my char' but then when loading as soon as the game screen should come up boom i get the problem.
