Lagging While playing Runescape

I tend to lag extremely bad while playing Runescape. I Want to know whats the lowest settings i can go to on runescape so i don't lag as much and how to get there to change it. I have tried changing it to Min, but i still tend to lag a little, is there any lower setting?

Well same for me on my old-ass computer, when I say old-ass I mean Windows ME lmfao. I use to not lagg and now I do, even if It's at min graphics. I tried everything but nothing worked. I would also like to know other peoples opinion and suggestions.

Your Operating System? and I think it has to do with your Processor. I don't know for sure but I think.

 

Im not completly sure about the processor and everything. (how would i find that out)
Its a VAIO and thats all i can tell you. I bought it around 3 years ago, so it cant be to bad right?? haha

 

To find out, right-click "My Computer" and left-click "Properties". A new window will pop up with all the details and info.

3 years ago isn't that bad... don't know why but tell me the Processor. I'm pretty sure it's that.

System-Microsoft Windows Xp; Home edition

Processor- Intel(r)
CPU-3.00 Ghz-
504MB of ram?

Well I am not that good with Processors but it does seem good.

Did you try closing any other programs on except rs?

 

It could be the amount of ping. Before logging in fully while your in the lobby go to world select and wait. Then after a while choose the world with the lowest ping.

 

Sounds like it's just your connection. Your computer's specs are better than what is required to play Runescape.

How is your connection when viewing other sites? How long do they take to load?

 

Pretty sure it's just your internet. Like Drake said, choose the world with the lowest ping when you log in, that should help.
