Only four globals?

I do not know what has happened to all of the globals that Sythe used to have, but they have vanished leaving only four globals. Honestly I personally do not believe that really is enough manpower for all the responsibilities that globals have. I have no idea what the staff's plans are about promotions but it seems that most of the sectionals are fairly new and thus not really global material yet, but I could be completely wrong about that. I also do not know how many ex-globals that could step back in are still around, but none the less this is still an issue. I just hope that the higher staff make it a priority to promote some more guys.

 

Seems most globals are preoccupied with school and would rather not stay if they couldn't pull their weight. I'd rather well deserved individuals get promoted over promotions just to fill out spots.

 

More promotions will come when necessary. As of now, I think we're in a good place.

The site seems to be well managed atm, so I don't see a need for more globals.

 

I was thinking the same thing until FireZ was promoted; that guy's a monster.

Deserving is a misleading word, but of course it is better to not just promote globals because there are slots. However, sometimes new blood is needed and someone could be promoted in the hopes that the added expectations turn the person into a great global.

Read my response to Skele and then consider this. There is really no way to predict when need moderators will be needed, and when running on essentially the bare minimum, any disruption will not end well. Trying to find someone to fill the gap before it is needed could help greatly.

May I ask what concerns?

Globals really do not "man" places. They are essentially above that for most of their duties. So, judging if there is enough man power is not something users can easily do. It just seems to me, based on history, that four would not be enough.

There is a lot more to globals tasks that keeping reports clean.
