But once you delete them, it deletes them from their servers probably, why else would they want you to delete messages if they never leave their servers?

 

I'm pretty sure this would be a conflict with the privacy law's if they did.

 

I dont use pm much, but I can understand people with services, espicially sucessful ones needing a lot of pm space. Great suggestion.

eh, i dont think it would be very popular, probably less then 10% of target market would be reached and the service is just not needed.

 

Agreed, I only ran a small business while back and with not very many customers I got a good 5 pms a day which fill up you box rather quickly so for those who own a big business it must be a big pain to have such a small box.

 

Have we always had 500 Messages or was this updated?

 

They are no longer valid proof if an account has been recovered or payment has been charged back.
That is my fear when removing PMs.

I get mass messages a day and have to clear them up. It's annoying.

Nice, but not good enough. If you clear your pms and one of them includes proof of purchase for something of which save to your drive and delete the messages on your Sythe account, those messages then are put into a format such as notepad.

Notepad, is incredibly easy to edit and so your proof would be lost, unless you decide on taking several pictures for each message, which is also time consuming.

Besides that, yes I think it's a good idea. If people are getting 50+ messages a day, I think that's a legitimate reason to get a larger inbox. Although one thing i'm not sure about is why you guys are saying that you don't want to delete your pm's in case they try to scam you. Shouldn't you be doing trades through msn anyways, not through pm's.

Well couldnt it just be cheaper to donate rather then having to pay per month? And once they pm you just tell them to add you on msn once they add you delete the pm. There is a very small percentage of sythe users that dont have an msn.

 

I would pay for a larger PM box as I generally save me important personal messages, which is slowly filling up my entire PM box. I'm not sure if this is possible as a VBulletin feature or if allowing members to have larger PM boxes will somehow harm the site but if it is possible to be done I'd love it.

 

Are downloaded Messages proof enough for a Scam report or not? If not I don't see any reason why this can't work.

 

Download the PM's, and then delete them.
