whats up with bans?

So has anyone been getting banned lately? Or is jagex just doing the stat resets? For the past couple weeks I havent heard about anyone gettting banned. Usually when someone got banned they posted here and said how they got it. Are they slowing down on bans or what?

People still get banned.

Bans are Jagex's chief way of dealing with botters, the resets are just a bug of some sort.
If you get reset and let Jagex know (by reporting bug), then you will be banned.

 

Well people are still getting banned but if you get reset then don't report it, JaGex have claimed it is a bug to do with botting and if you report the bug you are pretty much telling them to ban you.

 

I know people who have told me in the last few days there accounts have been banned, so I don't think resetting has taken over completely.
