I'm neutral on the situation. I don't really have an opinion, too many debates about it, I'm really not in a position to make a decision.

 

I can't vote in this because atheist's and agnostic's are two completely different groups. Although yes i am atheist.

No. I believe in, and have faith in, my God. I won't argue his existents. I won't discuss why I choose to believe. I will however say this, you do your thing, i'll do mine.

 

I find it ironic that you have a comic in your signature that could be interpreted as mocking and/or making fun of God..

 

just to hard to belive in a "god" when so many religoins "i cant spell " belive in some many diffent gods. i dont like to argue about it cause it goes nowhere. people can belive in what they want.

 

I have my own religion, and in it i am my own god and one of my decrees is i must be given a tribute of waffles every morning or else people shall be'eth smited.....the list is getting pretty long....i really want waffles.

But naw in all seriousness, alot of the religions are technically the same just with different overlays, kinda like how 500 movies can be the exact same plot just with different characters, thats kinda how religion is. I mean hell the story of "jesus's" life is told all throughout time, just with different people.

 

Atheist. No evidence whatsoever proves there is, or was a god. While there is more than enough proof that no god exists.

Atheism is the lack of belief in god, and agnosticism is the lack of knowledge of his existence (ignorance in regard to the existence of god). This being said, it should be understood that the two are not mutually exclusive, nor does one imply the other. To address the question of the existence of god, it must first be understood what god is. By god, is the conventional meaning meant; a supernatural being who is involved in human affairs, as is described in popular holy books such as the Bible, and Koran? Or, rather, is a deistic god meant; the god of Voltaire and Paine who set the universe in motion, carefully devising the physical constants that make life possible, who is now, however, either indifferent to human life, or unable to change the universe, as he does not intervene in human affairs? Is a pantheistic god meant; the god of Einstein, a word describing the beauty of the universe, the physical laws which govern it, and all of nature itself? The first two of these are supernatural, and I reject any sort of supernatural explanation as it is not an explanation- it is merely a larger non-answer that is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to verify or falsify. A supernatural god as an explanation for anything fails as a scientific theory- he cannot be observed if any way, nor can useful predictions be made about the universe. The third sort of god, however, a pantheistic god, most certainly exists. The universe can be observed in every action we do, and it would be madness to deny its existence.

I am a gnostic theist in regards to a pantheistic god, an agnostic atheist in regard to a traditional theistic god (in which knowledge is absolute certainty), and a gnostic atheist in regard to the tradition theistic god (in which knowledge is reasonable certainty).

Your saying your believe in him just so you can get through the day? What use is false hope if its not something you can 100% count on. It will just be a bigger letdown when you need god's help and you don't get it.

That is the reason I'm an atheist. People use god as an excuse for false hope. They get sheeped around, which i am not in favor of

 

I've come to terms with it, most people think I am an idiot for such but I don't care about what most people think. I have my way of livin and it works for me.

 

I didn't vote because I haven't really thought of it too much. I probably should though. But one thing that I see a lot of is when a person is born into a country where it practices a certain religion, then a lot of people will follow that, and their kids will follow that as well.

So, like someone said in the previous posts, there's a lot of religions out there. When you say that you're positive that your religion is right, and you follow it, another person across the world feels just the way you feel.

 

I am a christian, so I voted no. I will not discuss why though.

 

I used to be a devout Christian and revolved my life and the Bible and Jesus. Around 9 months ago I decided it was all to hard to believe and there were way to many things that didn't make sense and couldn't be proven. Now I don't see myself as an atheist as I still have an open mind to religion so I guess that puts me in the agnostic category.

 

I voted no, personally I'm a christian but I'm not in the mood to debate my faith so I will just go simple, no.
