Halo Reach VS Black Ops

What is your choice and why.

 

To tell you the truth, neither.
Although if I had to pick one, it would be Black Ops because of the Nazi Zombies.

I don't particularly like Halo Reach, possibly because I'm not that good at in. I always press the right stick in and accidentally scope with DMR which never happened on Halo 3. Maybe if I was better at it I would enjoy it more. However, the graphics are amazing.

Black Ops only because of Nazi Zombies. If quick scoping was still apart of the game, I would defiantly play it a hell of a lot more. Yet, I've heard rumors of a patch that will allow quick scoping.


I own both games.


But staying with MW2

 

I would have to say I like both the same for different reasons. I love the gameplay for Black Ops and the zombies. But for Halo reach I love the forge and the forge maps etc. But I voted Black ops on this one.

Modern Warfare 2 made game of the year, and that happens to be part of Call Of Duty series

 

Reach 100%. Black ops is coping to much stuff from them like credits and changing your avatar logo and image. Plus I don't like games where if some one sees you first it's game over no chance to fire back. In reach you can some times navigate to better places and do a nice head shot to take him down. I have played both games and I do enjoy Black ops but I <3 reach.

 

I haven't gotten a chance to play the Halo Reach Multiplayer, but I have gotten to play the campaign and co op online campaign. I enjoyed that a lot, both games are about equal to me in the area. Also when someone sees you first in black ops, they're are obviously going to shoot you. Treyarch has to make it somewhat realistic. Halo on the other hand, isn't realistic at all, so they can make it more equal that way. I honestly really don't have a preference between these 2 games because they are both really great games.

 

I would say reach, there is so much more variety from the last halo game compared to black ops and that last cod game.

 

Halo Reach. Like Bubba said, even if I see someone and shoot first, it's not like 100% that he will die first. If he's able to navigate away from my shots and give me headshots, he might just kill me. In CoD, first seen gets first kill. CoD Black Ops in my opinion went backwards in graphics and other things from MW2 although, Treyarch did listen to it's fan and take out the noobtube, etc...

Reach takes much more skills than CoD. period.

 

Black Ops definitely, x2 or x3 more copies sold.

Black ops is more of a First shoot first kill game, as Halo takes more skill to actually kill someone, you could be out Br'd, or whatever it may be, but the chances of that happening in Black ops is really low.

Halo reach > Black ops for me.

Halo 2 > All.

 

Halo Reach, easily. Generally better gameplay and more strategy involved.

 

BOPS, only like halo 1&2.

Black ops is more of a "run until you find someone and hope you saw him first because either way someone is going to die in 3 seconds". If a AK74U was involved (in non-hardcore), then the time-til-death is actually 2 seconds. If it's hardcore (the only real way to play COD), then it's a 1hko no matter what gun is involved.

In Halo, you actually have something called a 1-on-1, a 2-on-1, etc. It's just just who can aim and shoot quicker. There are a lot more elements to winning at Halo.

 

First off I like anything halo over cod because of what kero said above theres more elements to who wins in a fight in halo, where as black ops its who sees who first. Secondly I find that bungie puts more time into there games. I play both games alot and I actually find myself more on blackops because my friends prefer that game and so do alot of people.

 

Same thing here. When Reach was out, we played Reach every Thursday (Thursday is Guys Night). Now we won't touch it. It makes me sad.

Black Ops is fine. It improved a lot of elements that mare MW2 very, very terrible imo. However, it's all still the same.

I see significant advances every time Bungie makes a new Halo. Every time theres a new MW, there really isn't that much added. Just maybe a few adjustments and such, but really it all could have been done with a new map pack and some weapons patches.

 

Blackops > Everything was updated and loads of new things added where as halo reach was just another halo with a different graphical face.
