Rs Bots - Phishing Scam? BEWARE?

Well ye i use rs bots and have only been doing so for 2 days.
(autofighter).

Well today my bot was working fine, well i turned it off and went to restart it but it said i needed to update the bot as it was out of date. (Where you can see your auth codes).

But i went onto the rsbots.net website and they have some news on there website saying if you get emails from them to download programmes its a keylogger (but there website is down atm) :S?

anyone else expierence this problem?

BTW ITS NOT RSBOTS WHO ARE TRYING TO SCAM US, ITS A 3RD PARTY USING A FAKE RSBOTS EMAIL.

 

I have read about this on rsbots.net, but im pretty sure the auto upload isnt affected.

 

nope it aint.. you will get a mail with some info and a link to download a new client, you dont need to download it(thats the scam) because it auto updates. and else just go to the original site

 

Thanks for clearing this up elecktar, i havn't recieved that email so i couldn't say for sure.

 

Also the client isn't actually Rsbots.nets. Its owned by impsoft.com and they run the rscheata.net website... Its not even hosted on rsbots.net if you click download its saved onto another site.
