Message to P-Mods about Riots

My friend is P-mod and sends me always the information he gets in his message centre I am sharing it with you guys

Hi all,

We are aware of discussions about a possible in-game riot, which appears to be planned for Friday 10th December, focussed around the areas of Varrock on world 1 and 2.

We just wanted to remind you all that in these sort of situations, the recommended course of action for P Mods is to not get involved and to just avoid it. In our experience P Mods can be rather rudely targeted at these sort of things, and any mutes applied won’t have much effect anyway if there are a large number of people present.

We know it must be tempting to pop along and dish out some mutes, but at the end of the day ‘riots’ are just a spammy affair, and not worthy of your (or our) attention!

The players doing this are simply seeking some attention, don’t give them that attention and they will soon get bored. So if you do find yourself walking into any such riots, the best thing to do is to simply leave the area and ignore it.

There is no need to report these players, as all they can achieve is a little ‘spam’ and there really is no need to give them any of the attention they are seeking. On top of that, we’d rather spend our time dealing with the genuine and constructive community, as opposed to dealing with a large volume of minor language reports.

Anyway why do they even have to get involved?
Imo they are taking it as a real life, breaking real things and stealing.
Game should be fun for everyone althought I never had a opportunity to be a part of a riot (not that I wanted).

If my friend recieves anymore messages in his inbox he will send me them.
No idea what kind of riot there is coming, maybe u could search on the official runescape forum

I agree. It's not like these riots affect other people. They could hardly be called riots...

 

I doubt the legitimacy of this due to your several spam posts, but none the less, update this when you find out more.

You'd think Jagex would have correct grammar and spelling, as well as being able to cut straight to the chase rather than waffling and repeating what they say over and over.

Perhaps Jagex is holding their own riot against players.

 

Riots against players for what? Increasing their pockets with "updates"? Enabling them to win awards? They are welcome.

 

There are multiple typos and the writing is mediocre at best. Ninety nine percent chance this message is fake.

 

i think this is real, no reason why he would lie.
