48 Hour wait to reply to your own thread

Sorry, you cannot reply to your post until someone else has replied, or until 48 hours has elasped, whichever comes first.

I think this should be reduced to 24 hours. It's kind of annoying when you make a thread in the market looking to buy/sell something and you can't bump it for 48 hours. By then it's on the 5th page and you can't ask for a free bump because it is spamming ( witch I agree with). Also the rule for bumping is 1 per 24 hours so I believe the same should go for posting on your own thread.

 

me too, i always waste time waiting for it to load and then forget i can't bump it for another 24 hours

Support, I made like 5 threads in 1 day selling accounts and eveything and i had to wait 2 days and by then i forgot i even made them

Yeah, 24 hours is a good amount of time. I think it should be changed.

Until then, just get your friend to vouch for you or bump it.

 

Yeah 1 day seems fair. Defiantly a lot less than 2 days, which seems like an eternity to me.

 

Tbh, I dont support this. If you think your thread will now be on 2/3nd page your wrong. Everything I mean everything will remain the same because it is not only you who will start bringing up your thread more often.

These are illegal actions. I've had Hamjamk and FireZ both post that free bumping aren't allowed.

 

My opinion is that it should be changed to 24 hours.

My reasoning being that the "unwritten rule" is 1 bump per 24 hours. So, with that being said, why should we need to wait 48 hours to bump the thread? I see no reason why the time limit should not coincide with the "1 bump per 24 hours" rule that a lot of moderators talk about.

you make no sense... also when you said "everything will remain the same because it is not only you who will start bringing up your thread more often." what does that mean because if no one else posts on your thread then yes it will go to page 5 or past in 3 days if its an active palce that people post new threads.

 

Bumping maybe. But I am very certain that vouching for somebody to avoid the 48 hours and showing you're trustworthy is not an illegal action.

 

I agree completely, 48 hours is two whole days and if your looking for immediate buyer, well let's just say that you can't do much about it.

 

I agree; 24 hours is reasonable considering the growth of the market.

 

I agree with fatality, you can bump it every one hour, but everyone would do the same, adn your thread willbe on the 3rd page in an hour anyways.
