World of Warcraft forums.

Ok before you post something about the "do not suggest list", please read.

I know the "do not suggest list" says:
- More Moderators

Means i cant suggest "More" Moderators.
Im not suggesting "More" Mods, im suggesting "A" Mod.
(So it doesnt fit in the "do not suggest list )

As far as i know the world of warcraft section, has no moderators, and this isnt good.
Why there are more than a few users that are interested in that game, there are some really active users on that forum.

The world of warcraft section needs some help to grow, wow has a lot more players than runescape, but that isnt reflected in the respective sections. Why ?, In my opinion its because not many people know about this section.

There are forums , like markeedragon used to be, that were REALLY active, mostly because of their wow sections.

One or 2 GOOD moderators could fix the forums, add guides, or make teams ont he section to make ti grow, is it possible, specially because the "Cataclysm" its comming in 4 days, and servers are already crowded. In 4 days a lot of people will be lookinf for information, or a place to talk about the expansion, lets give them sythe.org.

It would be also good to gert that same mod, moderate the wow-sales section, wow its a great game it deserves it.

We have had WoW Mods in the past. It was probably concluded the WoW section wasn't active enough to have its own moderator, so globals just take care of whatever needs to be done.

 

I agree. The lack of a Mod should be addressed. You must understand though, this forum is built around Runescape, not WoW. Therefore, I doubt Sythe will put too much focus on that particular section.
I also agree that the WoW section has huge potential, but will require a lot of work to get it going in the right direction.

 

I know we have had mods int he past, they just probably didnt put much effort on it.
Now its active enough and requires a mod.

Its built aroud runescape, but it has a wow section and it needs help.

HUGE, i think its most played MMO ?, that and the fact the expansion its comming.

Not really, we just need a mod, there are many active users on there and they are going to help for sure.

It's going to take more than 1 Mod to get the section going. The users in the section are the ones that move it along really.

There are other users on this site that have stopped playing RS and moved on to WoW, or play both. Even a few of the mods play WoW.

OT: I would agree the WoW section could use a good mod, especially one who actually plays WoW, to spice it up a bit.

 

I'm half on this. The section is ok as it is. However the past WoW mods haven't been great and history proved it with every new WoW mod.

 

I've already sent in a request for certain people that are active in the section to have a chance to be promoted to WoW Mod. Whether or not such a poll is made is up to the discretion of the Admins, so we'll just have to wait.

One of the main reasons of this, is that there are currently only 4 Admins and 4 Globals. There's likely to be some Global promotions soon, and Moderators to fill said positions. In addition, both Tgump and Verts are now gone, so the section is not being taken care of any longer. Alteranz seems to be the only person who's shown the section any attention as of late, but mainly due to reports made by others (I believe).
