Reporting posts suggestion. [Admin]

I suggest that once a post has been reported and said report is in report a spammer/the report a spammer archive that the ability to report it(the icon) should disappear which would stop posts being re-reported. Either that or a message saying the post has already been dealt with and thus needs no further reporting.

 

Good suggestion, makes alot of sence and would probably very easy to add on, I support.

 

I support. More than once I've reported a post that's already been dealt with and had no idea.

 

Support, this happens to me a lot and I think it would be a great update.

You don't get post count from report a spammer. I remember from my time as a mod that multiple people report the same post and it serves no purpose.

Not sure if Firez added that himself or something has been implemented but something such as this or just removing the icon after someone has reported it would be great.

When I've found posts worth reporting, I always check how old the post is to see if I should bother reporting.. we just generally don't know if it has been reported. This would be a great addition. Support.

 

Or a quick fix; Mods could just delete a post once they have dealt with it.

If a post warrants an infraction, it shouldn't be there, therefore should be deleted anyway.

Nonetheless, I support the idea.

 

This would not prevent multiple people reporting the post before a mod takes care of it. I do agree any posts that are infracted should be deleted though.

 

If said post is deleted though it comes up as "Private" to the person infracted which just causes further confusion.

I support the thread receiving a 'Infraction Notice' But not the loss of the small Report icon, A thread thats been reported more than once catches your eye in the RaSp list.

When I was mod I would just clear reports in order from top to bottom first page to last, I assume that's still what's done? Posts with more replies never caught my eye...just repeated reports.
