Let some one else edit your Thread

I'm a bad at explaining so ill make it short.

What I'm trying to say is why not let the creators of the thread choose who they want to give permission to edit their threads.

This could be useful for multi business partners, who share the same thread.
That's all i can think of now I'm sure you know what i mean.

It could help a lot for the reason you stated (multi business partners) but it can cause issues such as threads being edited for annoyance, malicious purposes, etc. It also ties into the whole situation of "Giving regular members Mod powers." So for safety/moral purposes I'll be politely disagreeing.

i got another idea, or get permission by a admin to give you small power to grant to others, that have posted an application for it?

We could make an application and sub-ranks to be given to special businiss people that are trusted or have multi-businiss with others? When they receive this rank they can allow some one to edit their thread, for example their partner.

 

It can't happen because of vBulletin settings, giving anyone ability to edit threads gives them ability to do everything else. I think thats how it goes anyway..

 

I'm sure this can be done with a vB mod?
