VMWare gaming?

Hey everyone,

Just wondering, has anyone here tried gaming on VMWare or any other hypervisor platforms? I'm curious about how you've been using it and how successful it has been. Would love to hear about your experiences!

I can't see much of a reason to game this way. It's not the best user experience. It would be different if you were using the VM because you didn't have the hardware you needed. I guess it would all depend on your connection, your specs, the VM's specs, etc.
It's just not designed for a gaming experience.

 

I used to use it for running mass amount of runescape acounts, but it's super inefficient resources wise and will be lagging a lot. Wouldn't use it for any game where you expect to get above 15 FPS or if you aren't trying to abuse something while staying undetected.

 

Tigeris, that is the type of thing I was curious about. I figured it had some uses for multi account playing but I was just curious more than anything what people have came up with. Thanks!
