minimal defence level for abyss RCing

What is the minimal defence level that is recommended to somewhat safely abyss RC? Last night I did a few test runs with 30 defence, and I died about every 3 runs or so (every couple of those were because of revenants), which I think is pretty good for 30 defence. I'm just wondering if 50 defence will be suffice, or do you recommend 60+?

 

I run the abyss with 1 def I just have 99 hp so I am guessing 1 defence works perfectly fine if you have the hp to make up for it

 

I guess I should have specified, I only have 33 HP as well.

 

In that case even a very high def would be kinda hard, seems to me you just need to find a blanace between hp and def that works

 

That's what I'm doing. I'm currently training my def to 50, so my HP should be close behind that, and then I'm going to take a few test runs at that.

 

I think that would be prefect for the abyss you might have to eat every few runs but it should work out well.

 

Just a high amount of health I guess.

It is useful to be able to mine, thieve or use agility to go through. So you can use more than one sot to enter.

I am only a couple hundred XP from 35 HP

 

I didn't really make successful trips until I was 60 def. You could probably pull off 55, though.

 

Get 43 prayer? Use protect mellee

 

50+ Def works well, also with those current stats I suggest you get way higher agility and get 40 or 66 Hunter for the spotty capes to reduce weight while running also get boots of Lightness.

 

Entering the Abyss drains your prayer, so this wouldn't work.
