Voting to establish if all guides that are "X" number of days old have to automatically be re-verified.

There should be no exact time date guides should be re-verified. Only when there's a complaint about a guide (with proper proof) not working.

 

I agree with this, But it should get re-verified after 60 days anyways. Voted for 30 before i read this tho :S

 

It doesn't take that long to re-verify a guide come on; 30 days is perfect.

 

I say 60, most guides work regardless or not of the time. It can be verified sooner if there is a complaint.

 

I voted 60 as well, as I don't think a whole lot of the guides depend on the GE.
Hence the time between verifications can be stretched out a little (and give the mods a break).

 

I think it should depend on the method.

RWT every 7 days
Glitch every 7 days
Moneymaking 14+ days
all others every 30 days

 

You shouldn't settle on a number of days, just submit them to random guide re-verification checks. Tell the verified guide seller that if he fails any of these checks he will be banned/banned from the guide forum, it is his responsibility to ensure that his guide works as he tells others it does.

 

I like that idea because the runescape and other games are constantly updating from stoping people from using glitches and rwting. Moneymaking in runescape could be a month though but 14 days if just fine and then the 30 days for everything else is good also. You would just need to add more sections for more types of guides because there are more guides out there than runescape that are sold on here.

I don't agree with compulsory guide re-verifying. However if there are complaints on a guide or a Guide verifier after around 15 days decides the guide needs to be re-verified then so be it.

 

Many people are skeptical as too if the guide has been patched etc, this would help ease the minds of buyers.

 

Guides get patched constantly. Especially RWT Moneymaking and glitches. Things should be verified every 30 days.

 

Either 45 days or when people start complaining that it doesn't work again.

I voted for 45 days. It should also depend on what kind of guide it is.

 

Verification should be removed all together.

 

Why is that ?
If a guide is verified I will be more likely to buy it.
