I need urgent help here please

I sold one of my zerkers to this guy and now he is asking paypal to refund him by taking the money he gave to my account.

Now the amount is at hold and an investigation is going on. I don't know if he sent as gift but if he did, would he still be able to ask Paypal for a refund from my account?

It tells me to go to the Resolution Center in Paypal, I go there and it says this:

"Resolution Center – Case Reversal Details

This payment has been selected for review and we have opened an investigation.

We have determined that this payment was not authorized by the PayPal account holder.

We have placed a temporary hold on the funds until the investigation is complete.

Please provide some additional information about this transaction.

There is two buttons in which I can click on, they are "Resolve Claim Now" in orange and "Return to Resolution Center"

So What does this "Resolve Claim Now" mean? Should I click on it or not? and is there any chances that my Paypal account will be closed and will lose all the money I have in there? With the payment he send before, he put a note saying "."... I don't know what to do and no I didn't recover the account back, he still has it and I am going to recover it now due to this.

 

Yeah I was scammed recently I sen't payment as gift. I just had to phone up paypal directly. I fucking hate their answering machine which tries to guess what your saying!

virtual goods aswell paypal nag for a tracking number to proceed on anything otherwise their just say fuck you.

 

Well If it's sent as gift.. why would Paypal give it back. They should see it has a gift is a gift, you cant give a gift to someone and go back to retrieve it. It wasn't a gift then.

That's pretty fucked up and I will be calling Paypal for this and should I tell them I sold him a Runescape account or should I just say that he gave me a gift just like that?

 

They most likely used the common "unauthorised access" scam so its irrelevant whether is was a gift or a normal payment.

It's illegal to sell runescape goods in the first place & paypal don't support virtual goods as there is no physical proof the other receipt received the item.

There is nothing you can do.

But on the other hand just know that gift purchases can be reversed. Through credit card companies & paypal themselves.

As long as I can recover the account back, it's good. I have all the information on it and he doesn't. He just added membership on it. Probably an email and recoveries.

When someone chargedback me they just disabled my account.. I'm not sure hat will happen.

I got it back the account but the guy is massively 24hrs botting, I am just waiting for him to log and he wont be able to log back in.

Na he can't recover your account anymore.

He can try since he has email attached find out how to remove that.

but if you do a appeal with more informative information his information is then basically fucked over.

Paypal don't need to proove anything he just tells them his account was stolen and someone made the transaction.

 

Well that's good. I do have all the account information but he only has the membership info. I am not sure if he has an email on it because I am yet to get in the account but he's botting atm. I submitted an email address change.

Is this normal that I receive an email address from Jagex with title "Email address change verification" after submitting the code I got from Jagex when I was submitting an email address change? I got the first email with the code on 4:48pm then a few seconds later I got the "Email address change verification" email at the same minute. Does he know that I am recovering it and he ask for change? I think he didn't have an email set.. I'm confused now.

Paypal is pretty shit then if people can easily chargeback their money like that... I guess I should've joined WesternUnion instead.... >.>

I don't think so.. I dont think he knows that I have it now since he is botting atm if it fucks up, then I can go in and stay on for like 7 days straight after putting the bank pin. I will put an auto clicker clicking the ground for 7 days straight bruh... crazy right?
