    Cheap MP3/MP4 Player?

    Another question from me..

My mother is going to New Zealand for a month in 2 weeks time. I've decided to get her an MP3/MP4 player to keep her entertained during the plane journey etc.

I need someone to recommend a cheap portable music player. It needs to have a screen of some description, and the following would be a bonus:
    - Batteries. If the player can take batteries (as well as, or instead of a rechargeable life source) it would be a plus, as the flight is nearly 24 hours long.
    - Non-touch screen. Touch screen devices seem to be more expensive
    - Less than £50 ($70-75ish) and available in the UK

Also please bear in mind, my mother is in no way tech-savvy, so a user friendly, cheap and cheerful MP3 player will do just fine.

    Thanks!

    Cheap MP3/MP4 Player?

He scammed them to get his mother a nice gift, obviously. (lol) The amount he scammed for and the price range he's looking to buy the MP3 for is the same, if you hadn't noticed.

    On topic:

I would either recommend the SanDisk Sansa Fuze...my younger sister owns one and it's a pretty nice MP3/4 player. Review below, not mine, quoted from a website. (Price is ~$50)

Or, the iPod shuffle is nice, I own one and it's super compact and perfect if you just want to listen to songs...it doesn't have a screen though, but it's very simple to use. Cost is $50. About the same as the SansaFuze, but it is has fewer features, (can't play MP4, no radio, etc.) but the Shuffle is very compact, and simple to use for any non-tech savvy person, and also a great MP3 for when you're working out, in case your mother does workout.
