I love how people are trying to get mad at Jagex for rollbacks...

Please find me a legit player who has been stat rolled. Then mabye, I'll believe this is a glitch. Otherwise, please just leave, stat rollbacks to my knowledge has only been happening to botted accounts. Your lucky that Jagex doesn't revert ALL stats to 1 like they did in RSC.

 

You can keep recreating the thread all you want, you'll just get banned from the forums.

 

Jagex manually removes Xp from botters accounts. Later they get banned.

That's why I'm thinking it's not Jagex doing the rollbacks. Think for a second here, Jagex would roll you ALL THE WAY BACK. That means like everything is back to the drawing boards. Quests, stats, bank, etc. It seems to me that this is happening more towards the people that bot their accounts up. (e.g. using a bot client)

You're stupid, the mod is talking about the bot's client glitching and setting them to that. As I've seen, it's mainly powerbot.org's client that is glitching.

 

Before you go calling other people stupid...find me the proof that shows powerbot.org's client is glitching.

If it is I recommend all experienced coders to look at the script. Because somehow, the script can magically access JAGEX's DATABASE and MODIFY STATS! If this was the fucking case, why can't we reverse engineer this glitch and actually modify stats that we want it too.

 

They are only removing what they think you bottled,if they removed everything, it is as good as a ban.

No wonder... its a punishment that removed levels you gained illegitimately...

what are you talking about? What is "client glitching and setting them to that?" Bot clients in no way can edit anything on the server, and it isn't a client side glitch.

The moderator is talking about (quote) "loss of xp". Because Jagex is removing it.

Now stop spamming RSOF and Sythe. Why can't you just accept Jagex is erasing stats?

So what you're saying is: Ban = Account gone > Rollback = Account still there with no stats? If so, you can't think worth a S**T.

First of all, if this is a so-called "punishment" the mod wouldn't of said "All accounts associated with this have been permanently banned.

Jagex isn't erasing stats.

Everyone making threads every two seconds only means they are too fuckin stupid to actually understand how everything works. People making threads on rsbot doesn't mean the problem is caused by rsbot, and you don't need a degree to figure that one out.

If you are banned, your entire account is gone. If they erased everything off your account, 'it would be good as banned' meaning you would still have to start over. However, there is no incentive to wipe an account and leave it unbanned. They probably remove the stats autonomously as a quick solution to botters before the bans kick in, and it is probably part of the new anti-macro system.

"We will look into it" doesn't mean anything. In corporate terms, that means that they are trying to shoo you away. They wont say "No" because it would be worse to the user base if they actually are causing stat rollbacks than saying what they told you. What you were told in no way identifies any relation at all with the bot client itself having involvement with losing stats.


"ROFL!. Kid", yes, please post what you think proves that XP removal is caused by bot clients, or that Jagex isn't doing it. Then maybe someone will take you seriously.

 

I really hope my main gets rolled back does it only roll-back skills you've botted ? or is it like a template roll-back? if so, I'm going to bot the shit out of defence

I actually think the Roll back of stats is a good way to criminalize the botting; Used to be you would get banned, now the botted stats just get reset. I'd rather have my stats reset, than my account banned... But then again I don't bot so w/e. Good thread though.
