Do you have any Christmas traditions?

If so, what are they?

Covid has been hard on my family these past two years, so I have just been able to visit my parents. Keeping it small.

 

I’ll be honest in the backwoods where I live people don’t care about Covid anymore and nobody follows the rules. Aside from having a couple new members in my family and a few deaths . Shits all outta wack this year but we’re playing it by eye and ear. Happy holidays!

 

We still get together but nobodies weirded out. It’s just that good Ol boy way of thinking I guess…

Idk why but I come back to this forum almost every year to see what’s going on. All my RuneScape accounts have been long banned. I’m old and have a family but sythe brings me back to when Visual Basic and cc+ were the hottest rage. (Dying inside)

 

Dinner with family, nothing more needed than that.

We mostly get together and celebrate with entire family

 

We come together with the whole family and eat together, we rotate each year aswell for who hosts.

We always have seafood on Christmas, more specifically we have shrimp cocktails

I'm hispanic so we open presents at 12 AM on Christmas day rather than in the morning when we wake up.

 

Midnight mass at church, then chill with the fam the rest of the evening, then that morning we get up and have breakfast casserole, shit slaps.

 

The Polar Express and/or Home Alone plays every year on Christmas Eve at my house. Grew up watching those movies every Christmas Eve and still continue to do so now that I've grown into my adult years

 

Nothing out of the ordinary, chill at home and eat some good food
