how much money will it cost to get 99 cooking?

so anyone got 99 cooking recently

i want to know how much it cost ?

i am considering cooking tuna

 

Erm its around 4mil..

 

wow I thought it was around 2 mil since the difference between raw tuna and tuna is like 4gp or 6gp

 

It completly depends on what you are doing. Itd be faster to do sharks after 94, but it cost more.

Well, in that case lobsters are only like 0.15 gp/xp.

So 99 cooking with them, assuming you don't burn a whole lot wouldn't cost more than 2m.

 

I did Lobsters on my skiller from level 76 - 99, and I only lost about 3M, so, that's about my estimate. If you have 3M+, you're good to go.

 

It's pretty simple to calculate the cost...you just take the amount of xp you need divided by the xp per item that you're cooking, then however many items you have is multiplied by the difference between the raw and cooked price of the item. So:
(total xp needed/xp per item)(raw price-cooked price)

I would just do sharks, it's super fast and not terribly expensive.

Edit: Didn't know you were f2p. Either do lobsters or swordies.

 

well,i think just 4-5mil will get u to 99 as long as u sell what u have cooked~~heres this
60+ Lobster ~150k xp/hour----need 24285
84+ Monkfish ~180k xp/hour----need 15967
90+ Sharks ~270k xp/hour-----need 35484

 

Just get some money and do lobs really.. doing tuna you will be wasting you time there.

This method assumes that you have level 50 cooking. Also, this method burns no food in the process:

Level 50-59: 2,932 trouts - 11,728 profit
Level 59-69: 7,450 salmons - 59,600 profit
Level 69-74: 5,353 tunas - 16,059 profit
Level 74-86: 27,795 lobsters - 500,310 loss
Level 86-99: 94,367 swordfish - 1226771 loss

Total Loss = 1,639,694

So around a 1.6-1.7mil loss, because prices will most probably change a bit.
