Is it just me or runescape is f*cked?

Okay i have come to think of this a long time ago but seriously. RUNESCAPE IS TURNING IN TO WORLD OF WARCRAFT!!!
Here is how they are both similar now

-Runescape recently changed so you have to log in with your email
just like in wow

-Runescape hits got multiplied by 10x so the hits look similar.

-World of Warcraft has quickchat and so does runescape now

-Runescape HD full Screen layout is nearly identical to runescape (except
Runescape has skills instead of abilities and spells)

-Runescape lost its kill and loot ability in pvp(if you kill someone you dont get there items)

-Dungeeneoring is EXACTLY like World of Warcraft Dungeons(The Dungeon Finder that you unlock at level 15)

-Runescape Sound Effects when you take damage is now the same like in World of Warcraft

-Runescape got PVP worlds where you could fight people anywhere except for banks is pretty much the same as a PVP server in World of Warcraft (Runescape should only have one place were you could fight is the Wilderness)

-Runescape just started adding quest that give you powerful weapons and armor such as Void stares back. In wow thats pretty much how you get good items is by doing quests.

- Runescape got the new "Developers Console" that shows your Frames per second and delay. Just what World of Warcraft always had.

- World of warcraft has the thing that you can duel a character anywhere. Runescape is getting a new update that is going to let us "Challenge for fun any leveled character outside of Duel arena"

I'm dissapointed in runescape because they are never original they always have to copy something or someone. And i bet later on Runescape is going to be controlled by keys A,S,D,W, and Spacebar to move around.

For now thats all i can think of. So you guys can add more stuff in.

WoW is a great game and Jagex is just taking successful aspects of another game and applying it to theirs. Nothing is wrong with this, anyone who has played both of the games knows how completely different they are.

 

i think it would be positive if runescape is copying wow,becoz wow is a very very good game,and i really dun mind if rs is to become like wow in gameplay,+ runescape will have the advantage as to play runescape , we doesnt need to download the client like wow does

 

i wish that there was an OPTIONAL client for rs

 

I bet if you looked long enough you could figure out which games WoW borrowed concepts from.

Also yea they are copying but it all comes down to business and if they copy wow then they can offer a cheap alternative then wow $5>$15

 

and then everyone will play rs, then WOW will lower their prices, then everyone will play wow

 

Well i doubt they would really lower their prices because that would just cause their business to crash. They would probably implement some shit into it making people come back. Idk im staying on RS cuz i just think WOW is gay and a rip off of your money . I just like RS cuz its easy to make real life money with bots.

- clan chat ~ wow guilds

not recent but first changes i noticed resembled wow.

thinking mounts will be the next thing, might have something similar already, i don't play rs to often.

 

Well, I'm not denying it any longer.

 

Runescape was before WoW, and has the right to do any updates.

-Runescape hits got multiplied by 10x so the hits look similar. I dont even see your point here. They dont look alike. In World of Warcraft your hits are ALOT higher than that, from level 15 or so lol..

-World of Warcraft has quickchat and so does runescape now Was implemented so muted users could still play the game. World of Warcraft doesn't mute users, had nothing to do with copying material.

WoW's dungeon finder goes cross realm ( Or world in runescape ) and automatically finds people for you. To my knowledge you still have to run around looking for people for your dung. group in runescape.

And you cannot duel a character anywhere in World of Warcraft. Only in select places.

Hell there isn't even a jump option in the game. Runescape is quite original in A LOT of things. Find the game the original runescape copied from..
