Chrome Does Not Approve

And I don't want to switch browsers

Seems to occur randomly, but quite often.



Sucks to have to make 2 extra clicks every couple of threads I look at.


Not sure where this thread would be appropriate - so if it fits better elsewhere, feel free to move.

Ya just started happening with me tonight as well. Got t on powerbot as well, has something to do with gold4rs more than Sythe.

 

I just got it clicking this thread, haha. Sythe needs to look into this.

 

Same with me.

 

I think that it would be easier for people to swtich browsers than the servr admins to go through all the trouble of making new plugins to prevent these messages ..

 

Some people don't want to switch a browser just to use this website without getting the warning page.

I have been getting this quite frequently recently as well, but I have gotten it before, but only when I first go to the site, and then it doesn't show up.

They're going to be losing a lot of traffic if they don't fix that asap.

 

You think running AdBlock on Sythe would stop its happening?

I don't normally run AdBlock here, but I'd do it to save myself those extra clicks.

Well I use Chrome for runescape because Chrome is more visually pleasing, and while on runescape I usually go on sythe.

This creates an issue.

 

the admin of sythe, please take gold4rs's ad down! this is not good if its dangerous for us..

Same thing happened to me. There was actually a thread going on about it to on PowerBot. It's the gold4rs ad, not the sites themselves. Even though Powerbot is owned by Gold4RS, it doesn't share malware and neither does the Gold4RS site itself.

I got this warning this morning when I logged on. I've gotten it about 5 or 6 times randomly since.

 

No issues with Firefox so far. =]

Do you guys suggest Chrome over Firefox? I have yet to give Chrome a go.

 

Just got same thing, I'd rather not switch to firefox... Prefer Chrome.

 

Just got the same message, still something to do with Gold4Rs. Strange.

It will be great to see progress on this, as it if definitely a pain.
