Would attacking with a giant chinchompa/steel titan get range xp

Ive never done summoning and i was wondering if i attacked using either of those familiars would i get ranged xp?

Also if i used the special move scroll would i get ranged xp?

 

being in a multi-combat zone, the familiars that give ranged exp when fighting would give you ranged exp, its quite easy to think about it isn't it? and using the scrolls gives you summoning exp.
