Great idea. I think a lot more people would vote.

 

Yes. That way friends wont be disappointed that their friend didn't vote for them.

 

Pretty good idea, mabye this will limit the "who did my friend pick" votes or the "Most popular person votes". Mabye different members will finally have light shed on them.

 

I believe that they shouldn't be anonymous because you still don't see the results until after you vote, making the above points invalid.

 

Although i dont actually have friends here and no one will care who i vote for , i think this is a good idea for others

 

Great suggestion, although people I've talked to don't like the idea. I'm sure it'd be easier for me to count the votes and make the voting easier. Sure.

 

I think what they are referring to is the "member of the month" thread where you just post the names of the members you want.
Anyways, I think this is a good idea.

I vote yes. Although I probably still would avoid the e-penis measuring entirely, but it'll be nice for it to become less of a boy's club.

So were going to make 4 - 6 separate threads? And is there any way to hide the results of a poll completely?

 

There is no way to hide results from Administrators, but it's more reliable than using something offsite.

A multi-vote poll can be made for staff members, and a separate poll can be created for other categories.

 

How would this work for voting for an overall member of the month? they would only be able to choose the members listed in the poll, it wouldn't be free to vote for who you chose.

 

Yes, that is the problem for regular members. Only a few members actually get votes each month, so a list can be created. Or, it can be done the way it is now.

 

I voted yes, but honestly I didn't even know there was voting for member of the month lol. But this will probably bring in a lot more votes if it is anonymous.

 

I'd prefer that.
