America's Sport?

So today at lunch a friend and I were discussing.. what "The American Sport" is..

I said its very debateable between football and baseball.

In my opinion, baseball has been around longer than football.. BUT almost anyone that watches sports watches football.. hmm lets see what you think?

 

I guess we have the same opinion.

Baseball is America's Past-time, but now a days Football there are more Football fans than Baseball fans.

I believe last years Super Bowl was the most watch TV show in the history of the US (111mil or something)

 

I would say baseball, but people watch more football, and its more popular.

I mean they barely show college baseball on TV.

 

People think football is more popular, but its mostly used for social shit. Baseball has what.. 154ish games? Football only has 15 or 16. Baseball lost popularity because it has over 150 games.

333 i think you make a good point about people losing interest because of the games. I love baseball, and have grown up playing it so I think it is still America's Pasttime, but Football is more popular now.

Is it also for social shit when they're at their house viewing it from their television? Football is the most popular, so if the majority of people like football, then it must be America's sport.
