Planned Surprise, For My Girlfriend.

As we're all aware Christmas is just around the corner, but after it's her birthday on the 12th of January.

Basically I've booked a Holiday for me and her in Tenerife for a week. But she has no clue I've done so, It's 5* accommodation in Playa Das Americas and also put me about £1,100 out of pocket

Here is how my Surprise is going to erupt, on Christmas day she'l receive her presents from me, but their will be an envelope with the word 'Surprise' written on it. She'l only be allowed to open it after all her other presents are open.

Inside the letter will contain a piece of paper, either printed or hand written on it will say something a long the lines of " Make sure all your plans are cleared between the dates of 08-01-2011 to 16-01-2011, You will receive your next clue on New Years Day "

Then on New Years Day she'l receive another letter that will only tell her to pack for 7 days in warm weather.

Not until we actually arrive at the airport and are actually booking in do I want her to know the whereabouts of the Holiday, I'm hoping she's thinking it's just a hotel for a week or something.

To me the build up of frustration and excitement will make this really special for her and she'l definitely remember it.

Is there anything else I could +/- from my plans to make it any better?

Sounds good to me, maybe a few more clues along the way would help build up the excitement. Also your girlfriends birthday is 1 day after mine

 

Ha ha as if,

I don't want to give too many clues though and I don't want her to know it's a holiday until New Years Day. And I don't want her to know where we're jetting off too. She knows I'm getting her a surprise but she doesn't know if it's for Christmas or her birthday.
