Showing proof of age?

I was wondering how I could prove when applying for jobs proof of age if I don't have a drivers license, a CA identification card? Would a school ID work ?

 

Copy of your birth certificate should work fine as most work places need them anyways.

 

I think a State id would work. I got mine in a day. Its pretty easy but you have to have birth cert. Social sec. Some other stuff...

 

Yeah, school ID's will not work for this kind of thing. Needs to be government issued ID for any serious situation.

 

Well I also don't have my licence(because I was in a bad crash that put me of driving). Because I'm useless. So what I use to show form of idea is my birth cert, passport or a 18+ card. Not sure if that's what they have in your country.

 

If you're a minor then your working permit should suffice. Otherwise you need to get a non-driver ID card from your local DMV.

JK, I'm pretty sure anything with meaning that has your B/D on it will work. Such as your school ID should work also since they know you're in school. If not, just ask them in advance?

 

You can get an identity card if u live in the EU

 

I have a state ID and that works fine.
got it in 5mins all I had to do was fill out a paper and show birth cert and social security card.

 

I live in California lol. School ids work for everything except age verification. Your only other options are a birth certificate, learners permit, or passport.

 

Your birth certificate or passport should be fine.

 

Unless your applying for a job that is like full time or goverment run....im posstive your school id will work as long as your applying to a job close to your school
