99 Range Vs. 99 Str?

F2p = range
P2p can be either str or range, I suppose it depends on your gear or stats... Like 99 str is shit if u got a dlong and rune but good if you got an AGS
99 range is sort of always good but becomes abit weak at higher p2p levels with turmoil and stuff

 

For P2P PVP, Strength overpowers ranged.

But adding them together for instance, a 1 defence pure with 99 ranged and 99 strength, ranged would be useful to damage them and then strength for the KO.

Getting a little higher though, perhaps into zerker terms I'd prefer to damage with strength, KO with strength and perhaps have ranged in there in case of farcasters.

i have an account thats 16 pray 60 att 91 str and 1 def, it downs all rangers, i figure that 16 pray for 10% attack is actually better then 34 pray because why get all those extra pray levels for only 5% more?

 

99 range. If you just have 99 strength you still can't hit them very often, you also need attack. I would probably stay at 1 prayer unless I was high defense, then I would get 43 defense for rushers.

 

I'd get ranged if I were you.
Lower combat level, And get at least 43 prayer for Protect From Melee.

 

99 range easily
It's just most people don't know how to properly KO/do a switch with range.
Theres so many different combinations(with HUGE DPS) its crazy but my favorite one is:
Rune Knives(194)->Morrigan's Axe Spec on rapid(471)->Morrigan's Jav spec(452)/Rune cbow with dbolts.

The Axe Spec on rapid has 6 speed(scimitar) so they can only eat once between the axe spec and jav spec/rune cbow hit.

Or:
Msb w/ god arrows (271+10% chance to do elemental damage)->Morrigan jav spec(452+(50lp every 1.8 seconds up to original damage)).

Or even a good Msb spec can be killer with 99 range. Basically the sheer accuracy of range combined with high DPS and burst damage weapons make it crazy.

 

I'd say range is better. It defiantly depends on your opponent though. I would get my pray up as it is worth it imo.

 

I'd say range has its advantages but I'd prefer strength, especially on pures.

Final question!

 

For f2p, I'd rather have 99 str and 31 prayer. For p2p, I'd go with 99 range and 44 prayer. Range seems to deal a lot faster consistent damage in p2p compared to strength.

if 1 def pures, then its better to have 1 prayer imo.

 

make range tank or just zerker with 60 99 45 stats

Honestly, for pvp, if you're 99 ranged, don't expect to fight a strength pure with 99 strength, since most have 50 - 60 attack, you'll be fighting a ~85 strength pure at 99 range.

Range is more expensive, and has little ko potential, if you combined strength with range, it just makes kids sit the f**k down

i have 99 range and 99 str owns me hard. with dragon claws, dds, melee is super overwhelmingly more powerful than range. it is still good to have both so you can switch attack styles

 

Tbh it really depends on your pking style prefrence and what kind of specs you like they all hit about the same but range for examp takes more hits but is faster
