I see your point, and yes this has happened to several people.
I used to have a pure but it got banned like a few months before the stat reset thing. I would rather had lost a few strength levels than my whole account.

 

I do agree with you, I am happy its not banned.

 

If you don't get banned in the next few days you can probably sell the account for quite a bit with all those skill capes and not any 99's.

no, jagex is just saying that to scare botters. I've seen people on these forums who have gotten reset like 4 to 5 weeks ago and still no ban. It's pretty safe so far. Jagex is probably rolling people back because there are a couple forum posts on the runescape forums by the Mods about this. They are saying it's a bot client's problem because they think ppl will believe it, but obviously they catch you botting they just rollback a bunch of stuff to piss you off and see who reports bugs.

No, it was a maxed 1 def pure. Fishing lol was 50k from 91 fishing and I woke up and bam reset.
