Effigys

I havent done much combat training recently.

I was wondering how often people get effigys? I was thinking of collecting them so I can train dungeoneering in an easier way

 

Depends on what you kill.

 

You can usually collect them pretty well doing slayer assignments, usually 1-2 per assignment. I would use penguin points on dungeoneering first though, until you get to about 50 or so, otherwise you are getting barely any experience from the effigy.

 

ive got 69 of those atm. been botting down in tzhaar. sucks having to get people to assist in them but im using all these towards prayer.

 

I get them a lot at the tzhaar place. I've gotten a few from greaters though. I get one every like 4-7 hours... which is a long time

 

higher level monsters seem to drop them alot more often.

when you get them don't use them on dungeoneering because it'll be a waste of time.
In dungeoneering you need to get the levels in daemonheim because if you don't you don't get tokens.
meaning you can use effigy to get to 80 dung.. but you won't be able to get a chaotic untill you go get 2m xp from daemonheim.

Effigy drops increases with the combat levels of the monster.

BTW, don't waste the effigy on dung You'll miss out on a lot of tokens, and you'll still have to play through each floor to unlock the next floor

 

I do dungeoneering more than I used to, however it is borign sometimes and the ffigys can help

One every 4 - 7 hours will be decent. Might go down in the tzhaar place and train soon

 

The higher the level of the monster is, the higher the chance that you can get an effigy.

 

use it on very expensive skills i.e. herb+prayer

alternately, if you hate to collect charms like myself, and have ton of cash, use it on summoning.

 

I only got 6 effigies from 55-77 slayer...

They're rarer than you'd think.
